The Research and Development project called “S.M.a.R.T. – Smart Museums and Resilient Technologies”, lasting 30 months, is being developed by Infobiotech (as a partner) with the collaboration of Advanced Technology Solutions Srl, Space SpA, the University of Palermo (DEIM) and the National Research Council (IBIM) and was facilitated by the Sicilian Region under the POC Sicily 2014/2020 (action 1.1.1). Mathema srl participate in this project as a technical consultant.
The aim of the project is to create a system capable of monitoring the air quality of the environments used for the conservation and exhibition of works of art.
In particular, an integrated system will be designed and developed capable of autonomously monitoring the specific characteristics of each exhibition environment and of providing real-time information for the control of the general conditions of air quality and for the monitoring of the same by the museum’s management structures in order to rationalize the usability of museum assets.
